Flashback Friday: STYX performing “Babe”

As Team Marmoset sits here and thinks about what video we’re going to feature for our Flashback Friday segment, we can’t help but reminisce about our childhood. You know the days when MTV still played videos and you’d just hang out in your buddy’s living room rocking out while the parents were still at work. Awe…the good old days.

Anyway…. as I do all this I can’t help but remember listening to dramatic “anthem” bands, like Styx. This video clip was one of Styx’s biggest hits and it paved the way for their concept album “Killroy was Here” and their continued success into the 1980’s.

Styx was the first band to have four consecutive albums certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.

Here is Styx performing their 1979 power ballad “Babe”.
